Makes 3 dozen
3/4 c. butter, softened
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
1 t. vanilla extract
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. baking soda
1/4 t. salt
3 c. long-cooking oats, uncooked
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. raisins
Combine butter, sugars, milk, egg and vanilla in a large bowl. Beat until light and fluffy; set aside. Whisk together flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Add to butter mixture; stir well. Add oats, walnuts and raisins. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake in upper third of oven at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
