Let the children be our legacy
that we leave when we’re gone.
Let the stars determine
what we can be in the future.
Let the world escape into the galaxy
of another piece of us
that lets us put our guard down.
What I know about the younger generation
is that they are smarter than we think?
They’ve got things figured out
we just bring them down
because that’s what society is telling us.
So, let the children be our legacy
as they make the world so brand new.
