Ernest Hemingway once said,
“I don’t live at all when I’m not with you.”
It should be something every man
should say to a fearless woman
just so they could see the smile on her face.
And yet, many men don’t recognize
all the sacrifices she’s made for him.
He won’t see anything else
when it comes to the illicit light
to protect a love affair that’s been buried
under passing times and yet,
we’ve made so many people fall in love
with the words we’ve shared to one another.
