Hubro from Dale Garn (wool)

200g (7oz) sheep white no. 0020

Front:

CO 49 sts. Start with moss stitch. Begin with the bottom row and read the pattern from right to left. White squares indicate k and black squares indicate p. Work back the next row. Now the pattern needs to be read from left to right, white squares indicate p and black squares indicate k. The work should measure 14cm (512in) when you begin with the star.

Continue back and forth until the work is complete. Cast (bind) off while you knit the last row in the pattern.

The back is made the same way as the front.

Assembly:

Iron (press) the two pieces carefully. Insert a 30cm (12in) long zip by hand (see Good Advice). Then place the two pieces wrong side to wrong side and sew around using buttonhole stitches in the same yarn as used for the cushion.
