Crochet 134 ch in light grey yarn and make a ring with 1 sl st. Continue with sc, first 3 rows of white, then follow the diagram (see Patterns) that goes over 120 sts. See Good Advice for how to crochet sc with multiple colours. The diagram is read from right to left, bottom to top, just like when you knit. Always crochet the extra 14 sts in light grey.

The work will stretch towards the left and become crinkled while you crochet but this will disappear when you block the work towards the end.

All the threads follow the work all the way around. The threads that don’t form a sc lie hidden inside the st. Make sure you don’t tighten these threads; this will make the work uneven.

It is good idea to colour the rows that you have finished while you work your way up the diagram. This will make it easier to know where you are at any point of time.

Continue until you have finished the diagram.

Assembly:

Sew in all loose ends and sew a tight zigzag on each side of the central stitch in the light grey areas. Cut the work apart.

Block the work as shown in Good Advice.

Sew the pillow with fold (see Good Advice).
