Materials

White linen, 10 threads per cm,

52 × 52cm (20¹⁄₂ × 20¹⁄₂in)

Back piece: 43 × 52cm (17 × 20¹⁄₂in) and

13 × 52cm (5¹⁄₄ × 20¹⁄₂in)

Zip 40cm (16in)

Yarn

DMC mouliné fine yarn:

6 skeins black no. 310

Sew with split yarn (3 threads) over

2 × 2 threads

Finished size: 50 × 50cm (20 × 20in)

Overstitch around the linen fabric before you start. Find the centre and follow the diagram in the zebra section. The red square marks the middle of the pillow and is not to be sewn.

Assembly:

Sew in the zip on the back piece (see Good Advice). Place the front and back pieces right sides together and sew around. Press the seams apart, cut off excess fabric at the corners and reverse the work.
