Repeat rows 11–18 until the work measures approximately 50cm (20in).

Repeat row 1–10 and cast (bind) off.

Assembly:

Sew in all loose ends.

Take advantage of the selvage of the linen fabric if possible. Place the front piece on the linen fabric, 5.5cm (214in) from the edge, and pin. Sew together with a small overstitch towards the fold. Tack (baste) the remaining sides. Sew the pillow with fold (see Good Advice). The fold is here 30cm (12in). This can be adjusted with the fold of the linen fabric.

Cut off excess fabric in the corners, and press (iron)the seams apart before you reverse the work.

Tack (baste) about 2.5cm (1in) inside the edge of the moss stitched edge the whole way around so that you can fit a 50 × 50cm (20 × 20in) pillow.
