Dan felt energized after the lunch with Jack. He sent a quick email to a DHS IT lead and an NSA contact. The email had no content, just a subject line: "Execute Internal Watch". He then prepared the equivalent of a high priority international all-points bulletin query on an individual named "Spence" and any connection to Double Eagle and Albania. The query would be widely distributed within INTERPOL and friendly intelligence agencies as well as NATO. Dan smiled to himself as he hit the send button on his computer, the equivalent of putting a nice piece of cheddar cheese on the spring-loaded catch of a mousetrap.
