Dear Reader,

Did you enjoy this second installment in the Security Hounds series? I had great fun writing it, especially Pinkerton the bloodhound. He’s a fabulous working dog, but he does have the odd foible. Did you know that bloodhounds are also called “sleuth hounds”? They are absolutely relentless trackers but they have a goofy side too. In real life, I have an adopted shelter dog named Junie. She is a little lacking in practical life skills. My husband says she’s a comfort dog, but she’s only interested in her own comfort. Nonetheless, we adore this scruffy twelve pounds of trouble in a fur coat. I think God gave us dogs in all their wild and wacky forms to provide us a little taste of unconditional love, don’t you?

Thank you for reading the book. God bless and I hope you’ll come along for the third in the Security Hounds series!

Sincerely,

Dana Mentink
