MAKES ABOUT 1⅓ CUPS
1 |
cup apple cider |
2 |
cups packed brown sugar |
5 |
whole cloves |
Bring the cider, brown sugar, and cloves to a boil in a small saucepan over high heat; reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer until syrupy and reduced to about 1⅓ cups, 5 to 7 minutes. (The glaze will thicken as it cools between bastings; cook over medium heat for about 1 minute, stirring once or twice, before using.)
