MAKES ABOUT 1⅓ CUPS
1 |
cup Coca-Cola |
¼ |
cup juice from 2 limes |
2 |
cups packed brown sugar |
2 |
medium jalapeño chiles, cut crosswise into ¼-inch-thick slices |
Bring the Coca-Cola, lime juice, brown sugar, and jalapeños to a boil in a small nonreactive saucepan over high heat; reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer until syrupy and reduced to about 1⅓ cups, 5 to 7 minutes. (The glaze will thicken as it cools between bastings; heat over medium heat for about 1 minute, stirring once or twice, before using.)
