Mark Ribowsky has written thirteen highly acclaimed books encompassing a wide range of pop culture topics, including the definitive biographies of the legendary sportscaster Howard Cosell (Howard Cosell) and Negro League legends Satchel Paige (Don’t Look Back) and Josh Gibson (The Power and the Darkness), maverick Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis (Slick), controversial music producer Phil Spector (He’s a Rebel), and a trilogy of Motown biographies about the Supremes (The Supremes: A Saga of Motown Dreams, Success, and Betrayal), Stevie Wonder (Signed, Sealed, and Delivered), and the Temptations (Ain’t Too Proud to Beg).
