Dear Reader,
This story is near and dear to my heart since many of the issues the heroine faces I myself endured during my third pregnancy. I hope this book brings light to some of the challenges parents face when having children with unique needs. Since I don’t want to spoil the story before you’ve read it, I’ll just share that a lot of what is written is first-hand knowledge in regards to health care, special needs, and the challenges parents and practitioners face. However, real life is sometimes not entertaining, so after receiving notes from editing, I toned down some of the specialist comments to be more reader-friendly. I shed some tears and laughed aloud while writing this book as I hope you will, too.
Most of all, I hope you enjoy Katherine Stein’s story.
