I want to start though by saying that if you think you are going to get blazing rich from reading this book, I don’t think that will be the case. You might pick up some interesting information, learn a few tips or tricks about the games you like to play, but there’s no underlying secret to winning. Of course, I’ve been wrong before and maybe hidden within these pages, subconsciously, is the key to winning every time, and maybe you are the one to find it! But probably not. I recommend that you read for fun and not for profit, but if something I share helps you win a bit more, all the better I think.
Because the one thing I know about the lottery above anything else. They REALLY like your money. So it’s in the lottery’s best interest to convince you that playing more is better for you. As you will see, playing more is not the best strategy but rather playing smarter and better. The more you know how things work, the smarter you can be with your decisions. Playing the lotto is a form of gambling, just like poker or sports betting. What gets me is that most people who play the lotto don’t have any idea how this system works. That would be like betting on basketball games when you have no idea who the scoring works or what a dribble does. The more you know about how the process works, the more you can help yourself within the system. Does that mean you can learn enough to always win? No, of course not, but there’s nothing saying that you should be well informed about the way the system works so you can make the best choices.
Every book I’ve seen on this topic starts with the assumption the lottery process is just random and, therefore, should be ignored. That’s ridiculous. How a thing is structured and how it works has a direct influence on the outcomes. To simply reduce the very complicated system, a system created by humans and influenced with human frailty, to something like pure mathematics ignores a key metric in its creation and operation. People. You might think that people have been removed from the equation to avoid things like fraud and system manipulation, but the real answer may just surprise you.
If you think you win a game like a lottery with complex mathematics, you have another thing coming.
If you think that if you understand the system and the people who interact with that system, then you might be on the right track.
Let’s get started!
