BREATHE
Your breath is always with you.
How does a blue whale breathe? Go check it out! And do you know, it
can absorb 90% of the oxygen that it breathes in, while we humans can
only absorb 15%.
Let’s practise breathing like a blue whale! Take a deep breath in and
balloon your belly (notice your stomach rising) and as you breathe out,
notice how your belly flattens. If you want, place a soft toy on your
belly and notice it rising and falling as you breathe in and out. Repeat
this cycle 5 to 9 times a day, especially when you feel upset, angry or
sad. Use your breath to support you in life.
