Linguine and Caper Sauce

This traditional Mediterranean-style pasta is simple to prepare and can be made in bulk in order to have reheated meals throughout the week.

Serves 6

  1. Combine oil, garlic, and red pepper flakes in a large saucepan over medium heat and cook 2 minutes until garlic becomes fragrant.
  2. Stir in marinara, capers, parsley, and lemon zest, then reduce heat to low and simmer 15 minutes.
  3. While sauce is simmering, prepare linguine according to the package directions.
  4. Combine pasta and sauce, tossing until mixed well, and serve.
