Argentinian-Style Grilled Sirloin
A delicious twist on a traditional sirloin, this minimalist recipe allows the flavor of the steak to come through while providing a mild kick from the fresh seasonings.
Serves 2
- 2 tablespoons water
- ½ cup chopped fresh parsley
- ½ cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 (4-ounce) sirloin steaks
- In a medium bowl, combine water, parsley, cilantro, lemon juice, oil, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix well.
- Place steak on grill rack or skillet over medium-high heat and cook about 4 minutes per side.
- Transfer steak to cutting board and let stand 10 minutes. Thinly slice steaks across the grain. Top with parsley and cilantro mixture before serving.
