Buffalo chicken dip has become almost a necessity at game-day gatherings during football season. Instead of chicken, this recipe calls for sweet and tender shrimp. Serve it with buttery crackers, and this new favorite will be gone in a flash.
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
½ cup ranch dressing
¼ cup buffalo sauce
8 ounces frozen, cooked shrimp, thawed and chopped
½ cup freshly shredded Cheddar cheese
3 tablespoons sliced green onions
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
Crackers and celery sticks, for serving
In a medium bowl mix together the cream cheese, ranch dressing, and buffalo sauce. Fold in the shrimp, cheese, and green onions. Stir in the salt and pepper, cover, and refrigerate until chilled. Serve with crackers and celery sticks.
