When fall is in the air, these will make a quick and tasty bite-size appetizer for any outdoor occasion.
2 cups peeled and diced pears (about 2 pears)
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
6 bacon slices, cooked and chopped
⅓ cup chopped dried figs
⅓ cup blue cheese crumbles
30 frozen phyllo cups, thawed
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a medium bowl toss together the pears and lemon juice. Add the bacon, figs, and blue cheese, and stir gently to combine. Spoon this mixture into the phyllo shells and bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Allow the tarts to cool, and serve at room temperature.
