As well as leading Ecole Chocolat, in 2006 Pam created chocomap.com to celebrate the chocolate industry. In her free time, Pam is passionately working on the FCIA’s Heirloom Cacao Preservation Fund (HCP) as the 2019 President of the Board. Pam and her husband, Daryl, live in Vancouver, BC.
JIM EBER has two decades experience in public relations, marketing, and collaborating on books and projects with personalities and brands across a variety of consumer and business areas. He has been directly involved in the launch of 14 New York Times bestsellers, served four times as a speaker/panelist at the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP) annual conference, and even helped launch Virgin Cola and the Volvo C70 Convertible.
Beyond this book, Jim has worked with the Fine Chocolate Industry Association on the launch of the Heirloom Cacao Preservation Fund. His first cookbook collaboration, Sweet Myrtle & Bitter Honey: The Mediterranean Flavors of Sardinia by Efisio Farris (Rizzoli, 2007) was named one of the best cookbooks of the year by The New York Times and nominated for two cookbook awards by the IACP. His first of two business book collaborations with Jeffrey W. Hayzlett, The Mirror Test: Is Your Business Really Breathing? (Business Plus, 2010), was a Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestseller. He lives in Massachusetts with his wife and son.
