GAIL Z. MARTIN is the author of the new epic fantasy novel Shadow and Flame (Orbit Books, 2016), which is the fourth and final book in the Ascendant Kingdoms Saga; Iron and Blood: A Jake Desmet Adventure, a new Steampunk series (Solaris Books) coauthored with Larry N.
