Drihten hine gegyrede      gode strengðe,
 
and hine þa mid micle      mægene begyrde.
 
Drihten rixað,      dema usser,
 
and hine mid weorðlice      wlite gegyrede.

And þa ymbhwyrft      eorþan getrymede,
 
swa folde stod      fæste syþþan.
 
Gearu is þin setl,      and þu, ece god,
 
ær worulde fruman,      wunast butan ende.
 
Hofan heora stefne      streamas, drihten,

hofan and hlynsadan      hludan reorde
 
fram wæterstefnum      widra manigra.
 
Wræclice syndon      wægea gangas,
 
þonne sæstreamas      swiðust flowað;
 
swa is wundorlic      wealdend usser

halig drihten      on heanessum.
 
þin gewitnes is      weorcum geleafsum,
 
and mid soðe is      swiðe getreowed.
