A Note on Our Wines

Flights of Passion

The wines we offer our guests are as vital to us as the daily menu—we believe passionately that wine is food. Like the menu, our wine selections are personal, intimately chosen to provide diners an eclectic, dynamic, and diverse list highlighting small producers, biodynamic practices, and lesser-known grapes and wine regions. Sommelier Shannon Tucker introduces our guests not only to new wines but also to the winemakers behind them.

Focusing on California and Europe, we highlight the progression of viticulture and winemaking in France, Italy, Germany, Austria, and Spain, as well as Washington, Oregon, and California, all complementing the spices, flavors, and techniques of our cooking. Like coveted menu ingredients, our wine list derives from as close as forty miles north, meandering through regions and producers that make wines with a sense of place. Our daily changing list features two thousand labels, and our forty wines by the glass offer a little something for everyone, an opulent democracy of choices and a sense of pride for us.

As wine lists have tended to contract, ours has expanded. We profile one noteworthy, lesser-known wine by the glass and pairing each day at the top of our dinner menu. Several wine flights feature a trilogy of varietals, regions, or vintages we’re absolutely crazy about. We’ve sprinkled the book with wine pairing suggestions we feel passionate about sharing with you.
