WORKSPACE

Even if you don’t have a designated office, hobby, or craft room, I’m willing to bet there are places in your home where you feel most creative or productive. And if you’re like 9.5% of the country, you might even call this space your official workplace.

The Internet has made it so that more of us can do our jobs from the comfort of our homes, a work style that has been more possible and socially acceptable for a decade or two now. Stay-at-home moms can also be CEOs. It’s fantastic and truly astounding to see how many people are now making a living from inside the place where they do most of their living. This trend will only continue to expand. That’s why it’s important that our home workspace be a place where we can be most creative and efficient. Ideas are endless here! Similar to the closet, tools and supplies should be on display at all times so that you can strike up inspiration for a new project on a dime. Use your walls for notes, brainstorms, and big ideas. And make sure you have the technology essentials for getting the job done well and on time.
