Believe it or not, fitness is at an all-time technology high today. There are so many new, more practical ways to work out from home, thanks to many different apps, gadgets, and services that are now here to help. Couple that with the fact that people around the world are taking a deeper interest in their bodies and you’ve got an explosion of new ways to stay healthy and fit.

Over the years, my own fitness regimen has included a hodgepodge of routines. I’ve tried gyms, personal trainers, self-training, and almost every type of fitness class. My husband tells people that I’m one of the “crazies” who actually enjoys working out. And while that is not always true (there are definitely days when I begrudge having to yank myself out of bed and into my workout spandex), I have found out how to trick myself into wanting to get (and stay) fit. Yes, I said “trick.” Unless you really are crazy, your body is likely to initially reject the pain you give it with a hard workout. So you have to find ways to inflict that pain on yourself without realizing it’s so . . . um . . . painful. These are a few of the things that work for me, and hopefully they’ll work for you too. We’re in this together, sister!
