Sometimes simple is best, and that certainly applies for donut glazes. I like to make this when I’m doing a big run, but the portions can be adjusted for just about any amount of donuts you are making. I’ve recently been converted to vanilla paste. The flavors are so much more amazing than the plain extract that it’s worth the expense, at least in my opinion. To jazz this up even more, feel free to substitute orange extract, or even peppermint.
Ingredients
2 cups confectioners’ sugar
6 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Directions
To make a glaze for your donuts, stir together confectioners’ sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Dip warm donuts into glaze, and then set aside to cool.
