Saks’ Story
Anthony Parks, AKA Saks straddles two worlds and neither one is very reputable. One is as a motorcycle mechanic and Road Captain of the Hades Spawn, a none too squeaky clean motorcycle club. The other is as the scion of an organized crime family who wants him to join the family business, something he is loathed to do.
Recent events with the Spawn has soured his community reputation, and while certain women like bad boys, those kind of women are not who Saks is looking for. Add pressure from his family that “it is time to marry” Saks is faced with an impossible situation.
His wise-guy uncle proposes an arranged marriage between Saks and the daughter of a dom from another crime family. And when he meets a mysterious blonde that shows him love at first sight is possible, he knows that he could never accept his uncle proposal. Now he would just have to figure out a way to tell Uncle Vits without getting excommunicated from the family or putting the Spawn in the crosshairs of a powerful crime organization. While he is doing that he has to find the woman who has stolen his heart.
Christina
Christina Marie Serafini decided a long time ago that her loving but paternalistic family wasn’t going to determine the course of her life. She had no desire to get mixed up in any of the many legal and illegal businesses her family owned. Chrissy had earned a Masters in Business and Communications on her own dime, and she just landed her dream job of Director of Marketing for an up and coming business.
Marriage and a family isn’t in her game plan right now and when she did marry it was going to be a respectable man. When her grandfather announced he had arranged a marriage for her with “a nice Italian man,” Christina goes ballistic. She wasn’t going to marry anyone, let alone someone chosen for her. She certainly wouldn’t marry a member from another crime family. Chrissy could only imagine what kind of opportunistic carogna would agree to marry a woman he never met.
Urged by her sister to at least check him out, she goes to his family’s bar to confirm her suspicions. That’s when she finds a handsome biker that knows exactly how to send her emotions and body into overdrive. But realizing the hunky man is the one her grandfather wants to marry sends her into flight mode even though he haunts her dreams.
Once he finds her can Saks convince the woman of his dreams to look past his family connections to take a chance on a lowly motorcycle mechanic? And if he does, can he look past hers?
