I can hardly believe that this is my fifth book. When I started this journey, honestly had no idea where it would lead – or that the desire to write would only grow stronger. Getting to this place doesn’t happen without a whole lot of support.

My husband – I think you are the real Rockstar here. You’ve got the patience of a saint when it comes to handling me on a deadline. Your unwavering support is something I can never thank you enough for.

The twins – Summer was brutal, for all of us, and yet you two both still gifted me time to write when the voices just wouldn’t shut up. Thank you both for always believing in Mommy. You two are my greatest accomplishments.

Mom and Grandmom – I still can’t believe you two read my books. I’m not sure if I should be freaked out by that or not. Just remember, it’s all pretend.......and not based on actual experience. Mostly. ;)

My ‘real life’ friends and family – For understanding when I become a recluse and shut down from the real world to chase these words and a fictional world that lives in my head.

Fiona – It feels like I’ve known you for a lifetime. Your friendship, your compassion, and your drive, inspire me daily. Thank you for being so much more than a friend.

Crystal B – For always asking, “What can I do to help?” Thank you! I feel like I’ll never say that enough.

CJC Photography – Thank you for the endless supply of inspirational images to bring these characters to life.

Mignon/Oh So Novel – Thank you for taking the smallest and vaguest idea and bringing it to life, better than I could have ever expected. More importantly, thank you for all of your infinite business wisdom and friendship.

Allison – Thank you for being a part of my ‘dream team’. I appreciate ever ounce of feedback and the countless hours you spend with me – plotting or combing over every detail to make sure we’ve got this right.

Jenny Dillion – My amazing editor on this project! Thank you for making this book shine. Your feedback helped push this storyline to the next level and pulled me from the hole I felt like I was stuck in.

To the readers – You are part of the foundation of the book world. Your support will always mean the world to me. Whether you’ve been here since the begging or if this is the first book of mine you’ve read, I am so happy you’re here. Thank you for taking a chance on my words and giving me the opportunity to – hopefully, help you get lost from reality for a moment in time.

Bloggers – Has anyone told you lately just how kickass you are? I realize sometimes it probably feels like a thankless job, but your role in this community is vital. Thank you for all that you do to promote authors and sharing your love for our books.

I feel like I’m forgetting a million people, but please know that if you’re reading this – I am so incredibly honored that you are here. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
