Wendy Reed has received writing fellowships from the Alabama State Council on the Arts and Seaside Institute and has published in various anthologies, magazines, and newspapers. She has co-edited two books, All Out of Faith and Circling Faith, and has won two Emmy awards for her work on the Alabama Public Television documentary series Discovering Alabama. She has produced and directed numerous other documentaries and theseries Bookmark at the University of Alabama Center for Public TV & Radio. She has three children and lives in Waverly, Alabama.
