*About the same time that Woolbright moved back to Missouri, two men who lived in the same area and who, according to neighbors, visited with Woolbright a number of times, sold their homes and moved to Canada. One of the men, described as a Canadian citizen and an unemployed painter, lived in a $50,000 home. A curious law enforcement officer traced the man to a checking account maintained at a Hollywood branch office of the Bank of America by a club whose members were British intelligence officers during the Second World War. The law enforcement officer lost the trail of both men in Vancouver.
