Natalia Skatula was born in Loslau, Poland in 1989, grew up in Bad Wildungen, Germany and after graduating from high school studied History of Art with Fine Art and Artistic Design at Philipps University, Marburg. Here she gained insight into a number of working and painting techniques, including the foundations of watercolor painting.
However, her enthusiasm for watercolors grew after she completed her studies, when she began designing her first Christmas postcards using this technique. She has been working as a freelance illustrator and artist since 2018 and as a great connoisseur of paper, markets her Papetrie & Co. range of uniquely illustrated stationery items under the name nataskalia.
