Back in Shakira’s camp, Basil-Al-Sahem and his staff had been busy assembling the five devices that would be used, he walked out of the coolness of the laboratory into the mid-day sun, every time he did this it felt like a blast furnace door being opened and being hit by a blast of extreme heat.

He knocked the door of Shakira’s hut. “Come,” came a reply. Sahem entered, Shakira was seated eating a meal that Suki had prepared for him Shakira looked up “Good news I hope.”

“We have completed the devices, they are fully operational, Sahem replied.

“You have done well Sahem, now all we need to do is await Hussein’s return.”

“Have you finalized the deployment zones,” Sahem said.

“The immediate strike is Chimoio in Mozambique, have it loaded onto the truck and you can then get a case of beer from the store room for yourself and the lab boys, you deserve it.” Sahem left Shakira, to finish his meal.

Twenty minutes later Shakira was driving the truck east towards the border with Mozambique and the city of Chimoio one hundred miles away.

Chimoio is a regional administrative, commercial and transportation Center.

Facilities include cotton and Sisal-processing plants, sawmill and steel factories along with a large military base, estimated population one hundred thousand.

Shakira estimated the journey time would be three hours, which would involve avoiding detection by roving Mozambique patrols.
