When you wake up from a wild Halloween party at Aaron’s friend’s house, this might be just what you need to make yourself feel better and soak up all those awesome shooters. Don’t worry about the calories. Just don’t eat anything else for the rest of the week.
Get your aprons and sneakers on. I mean, you don’t have to have sneakers on… but I personally like to do calf lifts while I make pancakes to make sure the booty stays in check—knowing I’m about to carb load. #Balance
• Start by heating your griddle or skillet over medium heat. Whisk together the dry ingredients in a medium bowl: That’s your flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar, Karen. Then add in the wet ones: the eggs, buttermilk, melted butter. Combine well, but there will be lumps and that’s cool. Lumps and milkshakes bring all the boys to the yard.
• Spray your hot griddle or skillet with nonstick spray. For each pancake, scoop out about ½ cup batter onto the hot griddle and cook until bubbles start to form on the top, 2 to 3 minutes. Flip and cook ’til golden. Repeat until you have a stack of pancakes filled with secrets!
