Chapter 6: Stand By Me

The well-known 60’s song Stand By Me is an extended form of the I – VI – IV – V pop turnaround.

Fig 22 is its chord chart in the key of G. Unusually, this 8 bar sequence continues into the chorus. So fig 22 is essentially the chord chart for the entire song.
