Hello FOAM lovelies

This afternoon I have my final ‘general radiation blast’.

So after starting the planning and the treatment in early October, the time has finally arrived when I can see that the end is in sight. I will have had 30 total breast radiations, and tomorrow I start the final 5 spot radiations. These last five are high-dose radiation on the scar tissue surrounding the position where the tumour was, just so any tiny residue is totally zapped.

So Wednesday December 3rd will be a milestone for me—the end of my invasive insurance treatments against cancer.

219 days since I was diagnosed, 219 days of looking inwards at my health and my life, 219 days of being blessed by wonderful gifts and opportunities that may never have happened, 219 days of growing and learning and loving!

I move on to medicinal treatments soon, but next week is the last of my daily visits to the West Wing—and let me tell you, my West Wing has been far less exciting than the TV series of the same name.

I have also recently made several big lifestyle changes in my professional life so these coming weeks are a time of wonder for me!

December heralds the start of summer and this is my time. A time of fruition and blooming and blossoming after the growth of spring. After all my treatments I am now excited to begin this new phase of AnneMarie.

Thank you for helping me to this place … and now we party!!!!!!!!!!!

Smile BIG.
