Lemon Pepper Whitefish

Use any whitefish for this recipe. Halibut or sea bass would both make excellent choices.

Ingredients

1 clove garlic, chopped into small pieces

2 teaspoons lemon pepper spice mix

112 teaspoons sea salt

14 teaspoon paprika

Pinch cayenne pepper

2 (8-ounce) halibut fillets

2 tablespoons olive oil

Grill It!

You can also grill this fish for a smoky flavor and beautiful grill marks. It would be perfect for a picnic day!

  1. In a small bowl, combine the garlic, lemon pepper, salt, paprika, and cayenne pepper.
  2. Rub the spice mix on the fish fillets. Place the fillets in a covered dish and let marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  3. In a medium skillet over medium heat, heat the oil.
  4. Place the fish in the pan and cook for 3–4 minutes on each side.
  5. Serve over rice or salad.
