The Perfect Salmon Burgers

This recipe brings salmon burgers to the next level: they are delicious and juicy. Serve these on a bed of mixed greens.

Ingredients

1 pound salmon, chopped into small pieces

1 clove garlic, chopped

1 small jalapeño pepper, seeded and chopped

2 teaspoons lemon pepper

112 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

2 tablespoons olive oil

Binding Agent

If you have problems putting the patty together, add 1 medium egg to this recipe. The egg will bind the patty together.

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the salmon, garlic, jalapeño, lemon pepper, salt, and pepper. Using your hands mix all the ingredients together. Form 2 equal patties.
  2. Let the patties marinate in the fridge for 20–30 minutes.
  3. In a large pan over medium heat, warm up the oil.
  4. Cook the patties for 4–5 minutes on each side, or until cooked to desired doneness.
