Killer Jalapeño Relish

Add this relish to pretty much anything that you want to turn into a killer hot plate. This recipe is made out of pure jalapeño heat!

Ingredients

Makes 1 cup

12 large jalapeños

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon salt, or more to taste

Pour Over Tacos!

This sauce is delicious over your homemade Tex-Mex dishes. Make your favorite tacos at home and use this relish instead of the salsa. Remember that a little goes a long way.

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Wash all the jalapeño peppers. Place in a baking pan and roast the jalapeños for 30 minutes.
  3. Transfer the roasted jalapeños to a food processor.
  4. Add the lemon juice and salt. Blend until you a have a chunky relish texture.
  5. Place the relish in an airtight container and refrigerate until the relish is cold.
  6. Taste the relish and add more salt if needed.
