Spiced Apples and Bananas Dessert Salad

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon raw honey

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon fresh-grated nutmeg

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

2 medium Gala apples, cored and diced

2 medium bananas, sliced (on the green side)

Fresh mint for garnish

  1. In a small bowl, mix the lemon juice, honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract to make a dressing.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the apples and bananas.
  3. Add the dressing, and toss. Garnish with fresh mint and serve.
