Classic Coleslaw

This is a classic, crunchy, creamy, and sweet dish. You can’t go wrong with this coleslaw.

Ingredients

Serves 4

12 large head white cabbage, finely shredded

12 large head purple cabbage, finely shredded

2 large peeled carrots

1 cup homemade mayonnaise

1 tablespoon raw honey

Pinch of salt

Mayo-Free Variation

If you’d like a mayonnaise-free version of this coleslaw, combine 14 cup lemon juice with 14 cup olive oil, 1 tablespoon raw honey, and salt and pepper to taste. Whisk and add to the slaw instead of mayonnaise.

  1. Place the shredded cabbage and carrots in a large bowl.
  2. Add the mayonnaise and honey. Stir with a spoon.
  3. Add salt to taste.
