Banana and Dates Shake

With this recipe bananas will never go to waste. The perfect bananas for this recipe are those that are on the green side, so as to avoid them being too ripened.

Ingredients

Serves 2

3 medium bananas, peeled and frozen for at least 4 hours or overnight

3 Medjool dates, pitted

1 cup light coconut milk

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1 cup coconut water, divided

  1. Place the frozen bananas in a large blender. Add the dates, coconut milk, cinnamon, and 12 cup coconut water.
  2. Blend on high for 1 minute, until the dates and bananas are fully blended. Add more coconut water if the consistency is too thick.
