Golden Triangle Milk

This trio of anti-inflammatory herbs empowers this refreshing drink with powerful healing properties that are bound to help quench the fires of autoimmunity.

Ingredients

Serves 1

13 cup turmeric

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

2 teaspoons ground ginger

1 cup water

1 cup light coconut milk

Look Out for Stains

Turmeric can stain the clothing, so wear an apron to protect your clothes.

  1. Add the turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and water to a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat for 7–10 minutes to create a paste. Add more water if necessary to reach a paste consistency.
  2. Let cool. Store in a glass container in the refrigerator for up to 10 days. (The longer it is stored, the more bitter it may become.)
  3. Add the coconut milk to a small saucepan.
  4. Add 1 teaspoon turmeric paste to the pan and heat on medium heat for 3–5 minutes. Remove and drink as a tea or pour over ice for a cool treat.
