Fourteen-year-old Ahad Israfil was at work when his employer knocked a shotgun off a counter and accidentally blew off half of Israfil’s head. The EMTs on the scene were surprised that Israfil survived the trip to the hospital. Surgeons were flabbergasted when, after a five-hour operation, Israfil regained consciousness and tried to speak.
