Vampire bats may be bloodsuckers, but at least they play fair. These bats need to drink blood every night, but not every bat’s lucky enough to sup a mammal’s warm life force every night. These unsuccessful bats beg for blood barf. And bats to whom they’ve previously given are more likely to give in return.
