Cauliflower–Sweet Potato Mash

This quick mash couldn’t be simpler to make. It’s wonderful with grilled steak or pork chops.

Prep: 5 minutes

Cook: 15 minutes

Total: 20 minutes

Place the sweet potatoes, cauliflower, and garlic in a large saucepan, add enough water to cover, and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer until the vegetables are tender, 12 to 15 minutes. Drain.

Using a potato masher, mash the vegetables until desired consistency. Stir in the butter, salt, and pepper and serve.
