Be the Light in the Darkness

1. Sit with a straight spine. Close your eyes and tune in to your heart as you breathe naturally in a slow pattern.

2. Visualize a beautiful temple. See yourself crossing a peaceful lake that washes away all negativity as you prepare to enter the temple.

3. Let the temple light embrace you as the inner sound of tinkling bells rings out your presence.

4. Call forth an individual with whom you’ve had a negative encounter.

5. Welcome him or her into the temple’s sacred space.

6. Observe how the darkness dissipates once you act with compassion.

7. Fix your thoughts on the good in all hearts.

8. Rest in the healing light of friendship.
