A big part of living a fearless and happy life is learning how to communicate effectively. Mantras teach you how to become more energy-focused in your communication, rather than word-focused. Sure, words have energy, but just because you hear words that have low vibrations (e.g., “This sucks!”) doesn’t mean you have to react to them. Notice the energy without judgment.
Rather than focusing on the meaning of the word, observe the energy and say, I am learning to communicate in peaceful and empowering ways. For example, if someone says “This sucks,” observing the energy gives you information (guidance) that this person may feel overwhelmed or stuck in a situation. Then you can respond with, “Sounds like you feel stuck.” This response is a much more effective way to free them than if you attempt to fix their issue or take on their frustration yourself.
