Look Past the Physical Pain

Living in pain, whether it’s emotional or physical, can lead to random and sometimes impulsive thinking. Thoughts such as I am in so much pain, My head is killing me, I feel exhausted, and I need aspirin can weaken your overall well-being. Instead of saying these kinds of things to yourself and fostering negativity, say this mantra: Raising my awareness transcends these sensations now. Rather than focusing on the pain, put your attention on transcending your thoughts and words.
