A favorite for sure, tasty, and crispy chicken tenders.
Makes 6 servings.
Ingredients:
*2 large chicken breasts (boneless and skinless, cut into 6 strips)
*1 cup of almond flour
*1 cup of Parmesan cheese (finely grated)
*1/2 cup of butter (melted)
*1/2 teaspoon of basil (dried)
*1/2 teaspoon of thyme (dried)
*salt and pepper to season
Directions:
Prep: Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Either spray a baking sheet with cooking spray, or line it with foil.
Mix the cup of almond flour with the cup of finely grated Parmesan cheese, 1/2 teaspoons of dried basil, dried thyme and dashes of salt and pepper. Run the chicken strips through the 1/2 cup of melted butter, then roll through the almond flour and Parmesan cheese mixture, coating well. Place the coated chicken strips on the baking sheet. Bake until the outside turns a gold brown. Make sure the center of the strips are not pink but well done (test one strip). Baking takes about 20 minutes. Serve hot.
