Grain free rolls are delicious served with breakfast or a warm and tasty side with a full meal. Or enjoy a roll with butter and jam as a snack.
Makes a dozen rolls.
Ingredients:
*2 cups of arrowroot (heaping)
*1 1/2 cups of water
*1cup of quinoa flour
*1/4 cup of canola oil
*2 eggs
*2 teaspoons of cream of tartar
*1 teaspoon of baking soda
*1 teaspoon of salt
Prep: Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a large baking sheet with cooking spray or use a sheet of baking paper.
Mix the 2 heaping cups of arrowroot with the 1 cup of quinoa flour, 2 teaspoons of cream of tartar, 1 teaspoon of baking soda and 1 teaspoon of salt. Add the 2 eggs, 1/4 cup of canola oil and 1 1/2 cups of water, blending well. Divide and dollop by spoon 12 "rolls" onto the baking sheet. If there is not enough room, use 2 baking sheets. Bake until tops are a golden brown, half an hour.
